(NEWS CENTER) - We are pleased to announce NEWS CENTER Fifth Quarter will once again LIVE VIDEO stream high school football starting this Friday night at 7P. After a couple of years off, we are back and better than ever with full 720p HD video streaming.

We have worked hard as a staff to ensure we can deliver the fans of high school football in Maine a high quality experience from start to finish.

The broadcasting crew will consist of Jeff Mannix and Jeff Schools to start, with some suprises mixed in along the way. On the play by play we will have Portland Pirates voice and son of NEWS CENTER's own Kevin Mannix, Jeff Mannix. Jeff brings his years of experience calling sports in Maine from the Black Bears to the Lewiston MAINEiacs to most recently the Portland Pirates. Jeff has had the opportunity to call high school football in the time he spent in Washington State.

On color commentary we will have NEWS CENTER's own Jeff Schools. Jeff has most recently been NEWS CENTER's USA TODAY High School Sports assistant, helping to maintain the content and schedules of our high school website. Jeff has had experience calling and producing some 200 high school broadcasts from his time at Atlantic Coast Radio's The Big Jab and as co-owner of the former Maine Sports Network. The MESN group was responsible for bringing back high school sports back to the Greater Portland radio airwaves from 2009-2012.
