Health Insurance 101: A Community Forum

Spectrum Generations and Healthy Waldo County are partnering with Maine Community Health Options to provide an informational forum titled Health Insurance 101. The purpose of this forum is to help community members understand how health insurance works, the terms used, and how to maximize your health benefits.

The Affordable Care Act opened the door to health insurance coverage for thousands of Mainers. However, for many, trying to understand how to use this new coverage is not an easy task. This is an opportunity to get questions answered, learn the lingo and find out what MUST be covered. This forum will be offered twice in August and is open to the general public.

Event details are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, August 27th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Location: Belfast Free Library Abbott Room, 106 High Street, Belfast
